New Paintings

Here are a couple of paintings I've been working on. This is step one of three. I'll update with new pictures shortly.

Kings lose in OT to end season

The Kings fall again, in overtime, at Staples Center, to end their season. The Kings showed a strong effort all season long, but it wasn't enough to upset the division rival San Jose Sharks. Almost the exact feeling of last seasons loss to Vancouver in 6 games. All-in-all a productive and exciting season. I look forward to many more years of playoff hockey here in LA. GKG!

This is a photo i took with my iphone while in Vegas last week to see Arcade Fire and the Local Natives.

Another piece from the "W" collection. I really like the way this piece turned out. I'm hoping to expand on this same design and create a few larger pieces using paint and spray paint. 

Art update

I've been MIA for the past few months now... This is a sketch i did in Portland. It started a period of experimentation and creative growth for me. I have produced what can only be considered a series of pieces with this "W" in mind. I plan to continue making pieces and expanding my art vocabulary... When fall arrives maybe I'll have something real to show for my period of isolation and self reflection. Stay tuned..
